Arizona
Women's Political Caucus Focus Group
The objective is to brainstorm and identify the
process of getting African American women appointed
to committees/offices. Also, to identify the
resources needed to prepare African American women
to run for political office. We will be discussing
design of the Focus Groups, issues to be included,
outreach to potential participants, collaboration
with Arizona Women's Political Caucus, and follow-up
support for political participation.
We are very underserved in this area. The BWTF focus
is Tucson. This is a collaborative effort with the
Arizona Women's Political Caucus.
